Meet Elroy
Elroy Smith started West Cleaning in 2026 after years of working in cleaning crews and seeing the same problems repeat: chemical products that staff couldn't be around, crews that rotated so often clients never knew who was coming, "guarantees" buried in three pages of fine print.
So he built the version that fixes those three things.

- Same crew, every visit — two to five people, all employees, all vetted. No franchise. No subcontractors.
- A guarantee that actually works — tell us within 24 hours if anything's missed, and we come back and re-clean that area at no charge. No phone tree. That's it.

Our crew
We're two to five people on rotation, all employees on payroll, all background-checked, all trained on the non-toxic product line.
The point of a small crew isn't humility — it's accountability. A larger franchise will send whoever's available that day. We can't do that. The cleaner who finishes your kitchen at 9:00 PM Tuesday is the one who's coming back next Tuesday.
Why we built it this way
1. Non-toxic by default
There's a reason most cleaning companies still use products that leave a chemical smell. They're cheap and aggressive. The trade-off is that nobody can be in the building for an hour after.
We chose differently. Our products are gentler — they take more elbow — but kids, pets, and asthma sufferers can stay in the space during the clean.
2. The 24-hour guarantee
Most "satisfaction guarantees" are marketing copy. Read the fine print and they're nearly impossible to invoke.
Ours is one sentence: if anything's missed, tell us within 24 hours and we re-clean that area at no charge. That's the entire guarantee. No phone tree. No "submit a ticket." No upsell on the re-clean visit.
3. Same crew, every visit
When you hire a franchise, you get whoever's on the schedule that day. We're two to five people. You'll see the same two or three faces every visit. They learn your space. You learn theirs.

Service area
Winnipeg city limits only. We serve every neighborhood inside Winnipeg. We don't service surrounding municipalities or commuter towns.
